New German routes added from East Midlands, Cardiff and Birmingham Airport
bmibaby has launched phase one of its winter flying programme for 2010-2011. Nine key domestic and city routes will go on sale, and the low cost airline will also launch new routes to Germany from three of its UK bases. Phase two of the winter programme will go on sale within the next few weeks. Winter flights will be available for travel from 31 October 2010 until 26 March 2011.
bmibaby will operate new services from East Midlands Airport to Cologne and Munich, from Cardiff Airport to Munich and from Birmingham Airport to Cologne. “Our new routes from the regions to Munich and Cologne will be perfect for leisure and business travellers, and we will be starting the service from East Midlands Airport to Munich in time for the famous German beer festival - Oktoberfest. We will be the only low cost carrier to operate these routes, thereby opening up another country from the regions at great low prices.
“We will be adding more flights and routes to our winter flying programme over the coming weeks.”
